Now in it's fourth year, the HBHS Foundation Luncheon 2019 promises to be the best yet. Guests will be entertained and enthralled by Gilbert Enoka who,
Gilbert has worked as a mental skills coach for the All Blacks, Canterbury Crusaders, the Silver Ferns and the Black Caps and strongly believes that players who are mentally prepared will perform better on the day. And it's not just on the field that Enoka applies his philosophy. Gilbert is a highly skilled practitioner who has worked on performance enhancement for over 20 years with many of our top CEO’s, and business and sporting elite. Enoka didn’t have the brightest of beginnings. He and his five brothers grew up in children’s homes after their father left their disabled mother. But the man who many credit with the All Blacks’ world-beating mental toughness and “no dickheads” policy doesn't hold any grudges and his journey from a shy orphanage boy to custodian of All Blacks’ culture is a measure of the man. In a tradition this event has become known for, Guests will once again enjoy a Fabulous Four Course Lunch designed and presented by the Chefs at Kerr & Ladbrook including all beverages, great entertainment from a current collection of HBHS Performing Artists and guaranteed belly laughs during the wildly popular "On the Couch" session presented by James McOnie which will feature Scott McLeod, Gilbert Enoka and others. It is an event you won't want to miss with great people, great food and all funds raised benefit the men of HBHS via the work of the HBHS Foundation Trust.
